Shutting down your PC is no big deal. The usual way to shut down your PC is

START-> Turn off computer -> Turnoff .

But, there is a simpler way to turn off your PC with a simple desktop shortcut.Just by clicking an icon in desktop your PC would start to turn off. Will come in handy for people who want to get things done real quick.

Here is how it is done:

1. Right click on your desktop.

2.In “New” menu, find “Shortcut” and click it.

3. A box pops up asking you to ” Type the location of the item:“.

4. Type the following in the box

shutdown -s -t 00

5. Click “Next” and then “Finish“

6. A New shortcut is created in the desktop.

7.To turn off the PC , you can double click this shortcut on the desktop hereafter.
