There are many service providers on the Internet who offer free text messages to mobiles. One of the well known is Way2Sms.Com .

Now, using Way2sms.com we are going to see how to get notified on our mobiles when we get mails to our E-mail account.

Way2sms.com has opened this service now.So, if you create an free E-mail account with them, you will be notified in your mobile phone for any emails you receive in your way2sms.com E-mail id.

I know, most of us use Gmail and Yahoo. You dont need to panic.There is a way to get around this hurdle.

Both Yahoo and Gmail have E-mail forwarding service.That is, every mail that you receive in your Yahoo mail and Gmail can be forwarded to any other E-mail.his feature is what comes in handy to us here.

Once you create an account with Way2sms.com , you cna forward your Yahoo E-mails or Gmail E-mails to Way2Sms.com E-mail and thereby get notified on your mobiles.

Forwarding Mails in Gmail:

1.Login to Gmail.com.

2. Goto “Settings” at the Top right hand side.

3. There will be many tabs under the Settings menu and by default it will be on “General”.

4. Click “Forwarding and POP/IMAP”

5. In Forwarding , enable the radio button “Forward a copy of incoming mail to” and enter the E-mail address to which the Emails to this E-mail id are to be forwarded.(In our case, it will be XXXXX@way2sms.com)

6.Save changes and you are done.

Forwarding Mails in Yahoo mail:

1. Login to your yahoo mail account.

2. Click “Options” on the right hand side top.

3. On the left hand side click “POP and forwarding”.

4.click “set up or edit POP & Forwarding”.

5.At the bottom click and enable the “Forwarding” radio button and Enter the E-mail address that you want to be forwarded to and click “Save”.

6.You are done.
