ASP.NET has similar features and lot of libraries and things that make the life of developers easier and more comfortable. One of the things that make web developers happier is the conception of a wonderful developing experience where you can be more productive and create more secure and reliable web applications. ASP.NET provides these elements and more. In my personal opinion, the main advantage of ASP.NET is that it can provide a ton of features and functionalities that can be easily applied to your web project.

Furthermore, you only need have access to the ASP.NET official web page and download too many products that will help you to build elegant and useful WebPages. ASP.NET, from Microsoft, has several advantages over its main competitor; PHP even though, PHP is more used due its speed and commonly use a faster and more secure web server (Apache Server).
